Things you should consider when selecting HW, SW, Services,  Cloud , AI, ML, HPC, GPU and Cybersecurity Solutions and general purpose compute solutions, prem or SaaS!!

1. The total solution needs to be truly  considered, evaluated, vetted and assessed when Picking Technology Providers , ask for references! Ask for tech deep dives!

2. Things to consider.....Total cost of ownership....Cap-ex plus Opex!! Plus "other"! Hidden costs will get ya!

3. Total costs....including Enviromental costs, cost of upgrades, cost of downtime, Cost of poor support and responsiveness to your needs.Cost of complexity and limited road maps and performance cielings!

4. The culture and sense of Urgency the vendor provides when issues come up because they always do!

5. How pre-emptive is the support organization and tools to address RCA."root cause failure analysis "issues and cycle time to get to root cause, corrective action. Validation of problem resolution

6. Deal with Vendors and Partners that provide transparency on the solution, what the value-added features are as well as areas of improvement!

7. Work with partners and vendors who own The Customer Experience....good or bad! Sit on your side of the table and see the challenges you see through your eyes! Bad STUFF will happen and how they embrace the challenge differentiates the GOOD from the BAD!

8. Partners that have a breadth of knowledge and experience to help you build your road map for your Digital Transformation and enhancing your business competitive advantage as you compete in YOUR MARKETPLACE

9. Account Managers that become an extension of your daily weekly activity are key, their SE is your Systems Engineer, your new upgrade or project is their new upgrade or project .

10. Great Tech Professionals own the customer for life! Be straight and intensely responsive to your clients. Always and Forever!
